Intelligent Mobility Technologies

Connecting people, systems, and the future of mobility.

Intelligent Mobility Technologies

New Global Systems for Intelligent Mobility (NGSIM) provides transportation engineering, traffic engineering, and intelligent mobility consulting services for federal, state, and local agencies, communities, research partners, and private-sector clients.

NGSIM researches and develops technologies for places where transportation systems connect: highway-to-highway intersections and merging areas, highway–rail interfaces, air-mobility corridors, and multimodal hubs. Our technologies support safer and more efficient movement of people and goods through simulation, optimization, V2X infrastructure, ground and air mobility control, platooning operations, and accessible shared mobility for everyone.
